Master for cellist
A traditional master for completing the cellist studies at a very high level analyzing the technical and musical aspects of the cello repertoire in depth personally with Mario Brunello.
The masters program develops through six encounters during which the students will follow a program aimed at perfecting methods of study and at preparing pieces chosen together.
The lessons are individual and open only to five cellists, with the possibility to have concerts organized by musical institutions and theatres, and the chance to verify the fulfilment of one’s objectives through trial concert with an audience at the antiruggine shed.

Admission
Apply by email, attaching resume and the program chosen for the admission audition.
Applicants will be notified of the admission to the audition via email. The audition will take place October 26 2007 at 10:00 a.m.
For the audition, prospective students are required to prepare a program of their choice that includes two composers (max. 20 min). Audition will also involve a musical conversation with Mario Brunello.
A pianist will be available for auditions and during lessons. (Upon request, the audition can be considered valid also for Bach, Brahms and Schumann workshops. Please specify).
Attendence
Schedule will be decided day by day, depending on everybody’s commitments. Every individual lesson will be at least 90 minutes long.
Upon request, every lesson can be recorded on DVD for personal record.

Tuition: 800 € (for six lessons)

Created for those cellists who, for study, work or personal interests reasons, cannot plan a long term commitment. It will be possible to choose among three fundamental composers of cello repertoire, who will be studied in depth through individual and group lessons, readings, listenings and discussion sessions with Mario Brunello.
A concentrated commitment in two meetings with a group limited to six participants in order to develop the needs of every musicians in the best way possible.

Admission

Attendance is mandatory for the two meetings and advisable for the whole length of each. For each workshop (two meetings) six cellists will be selected
and each meeting will be at least six hours long. Schedule will be decided day by day, depending on everybody’s commitments. Upon request, every lesson can be recorded on DVD for personal record.
Costs
Audition fee: 50 €
Admission fee for one or more workshops: 50 €
Workshop: 240 € each (same prices for the pianists of the duos)
Missed lessons will be neither rescheduled nor reimbursed.

For groups from duos to quartets that want to broaden their musical experience playing with Mario Brunello and working with him on their repertoire.

String quartet (eg. Quartet + MB)
Two groups will be selected for six lessons of a half day each and Mario Brunello will be happy to choose the best group as partner for some concerts of the 2008-2009 season.

Admissions
